As Thriving Places Community Investment Officer, I support organizations’ and communities’ efforts to capitalize on their own strengths and work to address their top needs and priorities. I enjoy working with communities across Greater Nebraska and Western Iowa to help create places where folks love to live, work, and play. In the Omaha metro, I focus on supporting arts and culture organizations’ efforts to strengthen the arts sector, build organizational capacity, strengthen financial sustainability, and improve operations. Prior to joining the foundation, I spent over 10 years in arts administration in the areas of finance, administration, artistic programming, community engagement, and development.
I received a B.A. in Music and a B.S. in Business from University Nebraska-Lincoln. My wife Jonie and I met at UNL and are blessed with three children, Brayden, Caleb, and Kelsie. Growing up in North Dakota and having family who farm and ranch in rural Nebraska has instilled in me an appreciation for strong work ethic, servant leadership, and the wide-open prairie.
