I grew up in a small town in western Iowa and moved to the metro area for my post-secondary education. My career at the foundation began immediately after college and I have had the opportunity to serve in various roles over the years. Currently, I am a Program Officer in our Youth Pathways to Success impact area, which focuses on increasing the number of youth who progress in their education and secure meaningful employment. Within this impact area, I lead our Youth Development strategy to ensure that vulnerable youth have access to the programs and services they need to be prepared for academic, personal, and professional success. As part of this strategy, I work closely with area youth organizations through our Youth Initiative to improve the quality, capacity, coordination, and reach of the out-of-school time sector and to provide underserved youth in Omaha with quality out-of-school time experiences throughout the year.
I received my B.A. in General Studies, with an emphasis in Non-Profit Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My husband Tony and I have been married for 30+ years and enjoy spending time with our three adult children (Tyler, Scott, and Emily), and our twin grandsons (Jackson and Christian).
