I recently joined Peter Kiewit Foundation as the Grants Manager. In this role I have the pleasure of overseeing the foundation’s grant-making systems and working with grantees to navigate and continuously improve the application process.
Prior to joining Peter Kiewit Foundation, I most recently served as the Grant Manager at Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc. There, I was responsible for managing the organization’s grant seeking, application, and management processes, as well as writing proposals. I also have experience writing grants for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands, and in nonprofit development roles. I am excited to bring my nonprofit experience to the foundation’s grant-making perspective.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Hastings College, and received a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University.
I live with my husband, Nate, and our three cats. (I am fairly certain they believe they are the owners and we are the pets—they might be right). I am a plant lady and spend much of my free time in the garden and tending to dozens of houseplants. I am also an avid fountain pen collector. Ask me about my pens!
I love learning and asking “why?” and am committed to using my strengths to make things better for those in my sphere of influence. It is my daily goal to learn something new and use that knowledge to infuse a bit more good into the world.
