As a Program Director at Peter Kiewit Foundation, I lead the foundation’s Youth Pathways to Success and Economic Growth and Opportunity impact areas. My work at the foundation is focused on increasing the number of youth who progress in their education and secure meaningful employment as well as bolstering a vital, diverse and growing economy that advances individual and community prosperity.
Prior to joining the foundation, I most recently served as Sr. Vice-President of Community Investment and Advocacy at the Greater Omaha Chamber, where I led a team responsible for helping to build a community conducive for economic growth and development. I began my career as a teacher and elementary administrator with the Omaha Public Schools and earned both my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Educational Administration degrees from the University of Nebraska Omaha. I left the school system to join Mutual of Omaha as manager of Corporate Learning and then served as Executive Director of Ministries for St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church before joining the Chamber.
My husband Jeff and I, both life-long residents of Nebraska, enjoy spending time with our adult children and their families at our lake home near Ashland, NE.
